Sun, 22 June 2008 Interview with Dan Millman, author of the book Way of the Peaceful Warrior, as well as 12 other books. His philosophies on life and purpose are very interesting and thought provoking. Although part of this interview is not directly related to self-defense, we believe it is still beneficial to listen to. After all, no self-defense will work unless you have a foundation of self-worth, self-confidence, and a feeling that you are worth protecting. Additionally, having a strong sense of purpose in your life will give you something to fight for. We also talk about the FAST Combatives training that Dan, Christie, and myself attended a few weekends ago. Hollywood produced a major motion picture based off of Dan’s first book. It’s on DVD now so you can check it out for yourself. It’s entitled Peaceful Warrior and is directed by the same guy who directed Powder. We are sure happy Dan agreed to do an interview with us, and we hope you guys as listeners will drop him a thank you as well. Be sure to visit his website http://www.peacefulwarrior.comComments[0] |
